A handsome religious building dating from 1816, displaying its art with brio.
From its name in Cyrillic: Храм "Успение Пресвета Богородица". This church dating from 1816 is interesting for the number of 19th century icons it contains. They revealed inscriptions in Greek, erased by Bulgarians eager to remove all traces of Greek domination in the region. The flowery and shady garden around the church is very pleasant. Beautiful religious building which reveals its art with brilliance and can be visited quite quickly. Enter it if you pass through the region, the Sveta Bogoroditsa church is worth a visit.
