The pretty mosque behind the municipal baths now houses a small archaeological exhibition.

Kyustendil's first baths were built by the Romans in the 11th century. Emperor Trajan came here to treat his skin diseases and renamed the town Oulpia Pautalia. Today, you can visit the ruins.

Ahmed Bey Mosque. Behind the municipal baths, this beautiful mosque, built in 1531 on part of the Roman baths, now houses a small archaeological exhibition. A must-see after a visit to the baths.
