Museum located in the Rilski convent, housing icons painted by artists of the Bansko school.
Housed in the former Rilski convent, one of the city's oldest buildings (1749), the collection comprises mainly 19th-century icons, but also some 18th-century ones painted by artists of the Bansko school. You can admire both the superb convent and the icons on display. It's a double visit, always close to Orthodox religion and spectacular religious art. A must for cultural Bansko.
