This large 17th-century house, restored and converted into a hotel-restaurant, truly dominates Melnik and offers superb views of the sand pyramids. The rooms are spacious, high-ceilinged and clean, and the bathrooms (sometimes shared) are new. The establishment is not easily accessible, located in an unlit part of the city. To get there, halfway up the main street, turn left into the second valley and continue past another hotel, Usunova Kachta.
