CAVE À VIN MITKO MANOLEV
In Bulgarian: Избата на Митко Манолев. Here is a cellar dug into the rock on the heights of Melnik (at the end of the village, near the ruins of the church of St. Barbara and the city museum), where tables are set up to drink wine accompanied by mezze (cheese and cold cuts). The wine is made without the addition of preservatives and should therefore be drunk quickly (within a year) and on the spot (it does not stand up well to transport). It is very good. Of course, you will have to drink with moderation if you come by car.
