This cathedral, built between 1894 and 1905, is representative of the artistic expression of the period.
This cathedral was built between 1894 and 1905. It is representative of the artistic expression of this time, and dedicated to the two evangelizing brothers Cyril and Methodius who were committed in the 9th century to bring the good word in the Slavic countries. Very nice building to discover, don't just admire the exterior, it would be a shame not to see the murals and some beautiful icons that decorate the interior of the building.

De cette cathédrale se dégage une atmosphère très particulière, qui m'a beaucoup plu, sans doute aussi parce que j'avais été sensibilisée aux différentes statues de Saint Cyril et de Saint Méthode que j'avais vues auparavant en Russie (merci à eux pour l'alphabet cyrillique !)
