Superb palace set in 80 hectares of seafront parkland.
This superb palace, begun in 1882 by Prince Alexander of Battenberg and completed by King Ferdinand in 1893, is located in an 80-hectare park by the sea. The palace is in the style of Louis XIII and features the original pediment of the Saint-Cloud castle, which was transported from Paris stone by stone on the Orient Express. The guided tour includes the palace, its park, its chapel, the royal greenhouses, the wine cellar and the ruins of the Castrici fortress.
