Overlooking the sea, in the building and gardens that surround it, the Marine Museum displays a superb collection tracing Bulgaria's naval history. It's one of the city's cultural treasures, and it would be a shame to miss it if you're staying in Varna! Below the museum, you can see the Drazki torpedo boat, which scored Bulgaria's greatest naval victory in 1912 when it torpedoed the Turkish battleship Hamidyé. A wonderful discovery.

On découvrira que c'est un officier de marine français qui a ouvert l'Ecole de Guerre à Varna vers la fin du XIXème siècle.
De nombreux uniformes et documents, en particulier sur la libération de Varna du joug ottoman.
