These impressive thermal baths knew their hours of glory to the IIe-IIIe centuries. It was then the largest thermal baths of the whole of the Balkans and they attest to the wealth of Odessos under the Roman empire. One can clearly distinguish the frigidarium, the tepidarium, the caldarium, the vestibuli and thehypocaustum. They are thus rather well preserved and distill a romantic atmosphere. A visit not to be missed when you come to the Black Sea.
