By candlelight, around painted wall decorations and on rough wooden tables, the dishes are served by a lovely and smiling staff dressed in period costumes. The music is also part of the party. If the honey beer is a delight, so is the spiced wine. Most of the dishes mix meat or fish with berries, mushrooms, cereals, all cooked according to ancestral recipes. This is where you can eat deer and bear. We must admit that it is a very good and original address.

Avis mitigé : l'emplacement, le décor et l'ambiance sont vraiment sympas et originaux, mais du coup on le paye, sans pour autant retrouver le rapport qualité prix dans l'assiette (au niveau culinaire on peut franchement mieux faire) ! A visiter, mais pas forcément pour dîner...

Je pensais qu'il s'agissait d'un piège à touristes, mais l'expérience a été plutôt agréable. L'ambiance est correcte (quoique la pièce un peu trop sombre, cela rend la lecture du menu difficile), l'accompagnement des plats plutôt original et les toilettes (si, si !) sont parfaitement raccord avec le reste.

I have an opinion palia about this restaurant: the food is certainly original but rather heavy. It is very, very touristy and in each page of the menu you are asked not to forget the tip!

Restaurant très surprenant, accueil très chaleureux. Dès l'arrivée on est dans une ambiance médiévale. Repas typique d'époque servi par un personnel costumé et avec une musique d'époque joué par des musiciens. Très bon souvenir.
