The opera house is located in the Estonian Theater building, an Art Deco structure built in 1913. At the time, it was the largest building in the Estonian capital. Heavily damaged during the Second World War, it was renovated in the second half of the 1940s. The program features numerous classical ballets and operas performed by renowned foreign troupes. Tickets are inexpensive, and it's the perfect opportunity to see a ballet abroad. There are also performances for children.
