TALLINN CENTRAL HOSPITAL
Tallinn Central Hospital East is one of Tallinn's largest hospitals. It comprises seven clinics: the Diagnostic Clinic, the Internal Medicine Clinic, the Ophthalmology Clinic, the Women's Clinic, the Surgical Clinic, the Medical Rehabilitation Clinic and the Long-Term Nursing Clinic. The hospital has 579 beds, including 521 inpatient beds and 58 outpatient beds. It employs over 2,500 people, including more than 400 doctors and over 1,000 nurses. In 2022, the hospital treated 25,547 inpatients and 18,679 outpatients. The hospital is accredited as an integrated oncology and palliative care center and is a member of the Organization of European Cancer Institutes.
