A Dominican monastery in Tallinn dating back to 1246, which houses a museum of stone masonry techniques.

The Dominican monastery, dating back to 1246, is one of Tallinn's oldest intact buildings. Originally located on Toompea hill, the Dominican monks had to move because they didn't get along with the knights who controlled this part of the city. They moved to rue Vene in 1246. Extensive renovation work was carried out, and the monastery was enlarged and rebuilt several times, most recently in the 16th century. The monastery houses a museum of stone masonry techniques. The cloister can also be visited.

Si l'église ne paie pas de mine, le cloître est superbe.
