ESTONIAN MARITIME MUSEUM
Museum housed in a powder tower in Tallinn, displaying model ships and art objects relating to navigation.
This museum, housed in the 16th-century powder magazine tower known as Grosse Marguerite, focuses on the maritime past of Tallinn, a Hanseatic port. The museum exhibits model ships and artefacts relating to navigation. It is also possible to climb to the roof of the tower to admire the view over the city's bay. Although it is interesting, if you only have to visit one maritime museum in Tallinn, choose the one in the new town.
