RAKVERE CITIZENS MUSEUM
Citizen's Museum giving an insight into the way of life, rights and duties of a citizen of the city at the beginning of the century.
This citizens' museum provides an insight into the way of life, rights and duties of a citizen of the town at the beginning of the 20th century. The village, founded in 1252, was built near the town's 13th century Teutonic fortress. Crafts and trade have always been predominant, and this museum gives an insight into the old trades, traditions and living conditions of the villagers of Rakvere at that time. Very interesting visit.
