It is one of the oldest museums in the country, opened in 1905. This charming little museum, which traces the history of the city and its surroundings, is worth a quick visit. From the stuffed animals that live in the area to the archaeological discoveries and the reconstruction of Estonian interiors from different periods, we discover a rural world that has continued to develop over the centuries. A section is also devoted to the Soviet occupation and the war. In the end, almost 80,000 archives are exhibited and presented.
