ASSOCIATION AUVERGNATE DE MOUNTAIN BIKE (AAMB)
The Auvergne Mountain Bike Association is an association under the law of 1901, affiliated to the French Cycling Federation and the French Cyclotouring Federation. This club is mainly oriented towards mountain biking and is open to everyone regardless of their level of experience. If you wish to become a member of the club, you will have to pay a membership fee and a FFC or FFCT licence. However, it is possible to test yourself on two open exits before making up your mind. It is also possible to rent mountain bikes for half a day or a day, helmets are then lent. Several routes are laid out from the mountain bike base for distances between 20 and 80 km. On arrival, a car wash is at your disposal and a professional cyclist is nearby in case of a problem. On March 29th, the club organizes a 20 km ride and a 40 km ride as well as the Hard'Urance des Terres d'Orbeil, an enduro competition without stopwatches. One team represents the AAMB, in 2019 it shone on the mountain bike downhill tracks by winning the AURA championship and cup.
