An emblematic tower of the town, where the clock's bell set the pace of life in the city, and which today hosts exhibitions.

Built in the 15th century on the initiative of brothers Austremoine and Antoine Bohier, merchants and consuls of Issoire, the tower is the town's emblem. Embodying the rise of civil power in the face of religious authority, it has served a variety of functions: a clock whose bell sets the pace of city life, a watchtower, a town hall until the 19th century. Restored a few years ago, it now hosts temporary exhibitions and the new micro-folie space: a digital museum where you can discover great works of art thanks to digitization. Access to the belvedere is also possible.

It is seen place; go up does not represent really must; on the other hand, around Issoire el castle Villeneuve Lembron, a delight!
