Located in the city center, facing the sea, the mosque of the sheriff of Mecca Hussein Ben Ali respects all the canons of Islamic architecture. The white monument is worth a visit, if only to feel a little of the quiet fervor that inhabits its walls. It is possible to visit the mosque outside of prayer hours and on Fridays, as long as you wear appropriate clothing: no shorts for men, loose clothing and head covered for women.
