The Smiling Zebra is an agency created by Zoé, who initially came to Tanzania on a humanitarian trip to an orphanage in 2015. She then worked in a Dutch travel agency before setting up her own, with a focus on ethical tourism. The Smiling Zebra employs highly professional local guides, some of whom are French-speaking. It can design à la carte holidays (treks to Kilimanjaro and Mount Meru, safaris in the north, beach holidays in Zanzibar) but also offers interesting packages, including one focusing on golf and safaris.
