Absolutely superb lodge! Ideally located, you are surrounded by nature. Extremely kind staff and beautifully run by its founders. Perfect place to charge your batteries before the safari! Asante Sana

Place is very nice room perfect
What could be improved... is restaurant food choice, it could be better, same with preparation of food, e.g. cold bacon, sousage on breakfast, when we were exactly at the time agreed.
Location is good and bad :) good because of view, bad because you cannot leave outside withoit the car going up/down bumpy road. And you have muezins shouting every 5am :D and nice variety of birds after :)

Lovely lodge set in lush gardens just a few kilometres from downtown Arusha. The rooms are due for some updating but it was very clean and staff were wonderful and accommodating.

Hotel in Arusha, das aus einzelnen Holzhütten besteht. Es liegt in Arusha am Ende einer kleinen, unebenen Straße am Hang. Für unseren Flug am Folgetag war die Lage gut. Allerdings braucht man doch etwas, um in die Stadt zu gelangen und dort z.B. etwas zu essen. Schöne Lage am Hang und sehr schöne Aussicht von den Hütten und der Terrasse aus. Die Hütten sind schön eingerichtet, allerdings funktionieren manche Dinge nicht mehr so. Wir hatten z.B. nur lauwarmes Wasser und viele Moskitos in der Hütte, da die Bauweise nicht so dicht ist.
Das Personal war höflich und freundlich. Das Essen war ok bei geringer Auswahl und hohen Preisen. Es gibt wohl auch einen Fahrservice in die Stadt, dazu waren wir allerdings zu müde. Wir waren beim Essen die einzigen Gäste.
Es ist ziemlich hellhörig und die Feier unten im Tal haben wir die ganze Nacht durch laut gehört. Als Zwischenstopp vor unserem Flug war es ok, aber mehr Zeit müssen wir hier nicht verbringen.

My husband and I spent 1 night here before our safari and surprisingly we were the only guests there. Overall good service and food. Staff was friendly and our room was very cute. Would stay here again if in the area again.

Nous avons appréciés nos deux nuits dans ce lodge !
Les chambres sont propres, le personnel est bienveillant même si un peu compliqué pour se faire comprendre lorsque nos base en anglais ne sont pas très évoluées.
Le seul petit problème est l'emplacement... Beaucoup de bruit la nuit avec l'écho des villages provenant de la vallée..
