This eco-hostel is beautiful, planted in its banana plantation, a natural and artistic setting. It is beautifully decorated. Here wood is king, the atmosphere is zen and the paintings are arty. The rooms are inexpensive, equipped with mosquito nets, bathrooms with hot water, storm lamps and decorative objects. Run by a local family, it runs on biogas, made from compost, and recycles water. Great breakfast and restaurant. Outside, lawn, tables, sofas and hammocks. It is however far from the centre of Arusha. The hostel organizes private transfers and tours.
