Friendly and comfortable hostel near the center, with a garden and reasonably priced dormitory and private rooms.

A compromise between hostel and hotel, thanks to reasonably priced rooms, a relaxing garden with deckchairs and a location close to the center. But there's no hostel atmosphere. This pretty house run by Pearl, with shared lounge and kitchen, offers dormitory rooms (6 beds) or private rooms, with shared bathroom, wifi and a good hearty breakfast and delicious dinner (optional). It's easily accessible by dala-dala (5 minutes from the Clock Tower). Excursions in the surrounding area.

There are too many beds in each room, which means many people have to share one bathroom. Maybe that's great for younger travelers but for older travelers not so great. The staff is incredibly friendly, in the location is safe and quiet, it's just that the bedrooms are you're trying to cram a lot of people into a very small space and then expect all of them to share one shower and one toilet.
