Plateau allowing to enjoy a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains in La Bourboule, invested by the skiers in winter.
The plateau can be reached either on foot from the Fenestre park or by various paths including the Chemin des Investisons (not recommended for downhill), or by car via the D219. The Bonsière path links the centre of La Bourboule to the Charlannes plateau in 1h15. From 1902 to 1955, a funicular linked La Bourboule to Charlannes, where the bourgeoisie came to play golf. The plateau, at 1 250 m, offers a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. In winter, the area is used by cross-country skiers, snowshoers and sledgers.
