Ava Backpackers is the option for backpackers and solo travelers on a budget at the foot of Ngorongoro and Serengeti national parks. A great option for meeting new people, where you'll be warmly welcomed by Datto. A small local structure with a garden, a few huts and a welcoming dormitory, all with fans. Don't look for great comfort, but it's clean and the meals are delicious. They organize low-cost safaris with their 4x4, a good deal for those who can't afford to go with an Arusha agency.
