Le lodge est situé au sommet de la colline d’Umbwe, dans le village de Bashay, dans le district de Karatu.
Très beaux jardins avec piscine , plantation de café et potager. Les produits du potager sont consommés au restaurant de l'hôtel. Chambres très confortables et vue imprenable.
On est à seulement quelques kilomètres du cratère du Ngorongoro et du parc national de Manyara.
