This human-sized camp of just 10 tents is conveniently located in the center of the Serengeti National Park. "Osero" means "bush" in Maasai, because it's lost in the wild, close to wild animals. The tents, equipped with large, comfortable beds, are double, triple or family-size, and each has a spacious bathroom, straw mats and, in some cases, a sofa. The camp can directly organize safaris for its guests, a hot-air balloon outing, etc.

Osero camp is an amazing place to stay! The staff is super attentive and even offered us some wine at the sunset. The food here was really good and the closeness to nature (at night you hear the lions, zebras, etc. next to your tent) made it an amazing experience. Our tent was very spacious, with a nice bathroom and a good shower. We fully recommend it :)

We had an incredible three nights visiting Osero! The Osero team also made us feel extremely welcome and cared for during our visit. Asiah and Ellijah both went above and beyond for us throughout our visit, ensuring we were walked to and from our tent each night in the dark, that we enjoyed our meals, and more. The manager was also extremely kind and organized a special sunset dinner for us, as we were on vacation for our honeymoon. If you want to have a fantastic Safari experience, surrounded by nature (and even lion growls at night), without completely breaking the bank - Osero is the way to go!!! We will remember our visit forever and hope to visit again in the future!

Amazing place run by nice people. This camp located in the central Serengeti was recommended to us by our lodge in Karatu. We also found that they can provide experienced safari guides at a very good price.

i am not a tent camp or glamp user by choice. This stay was arranged by a friend.

As expected the outdoor facilities were very basic - dirt walkways and a grass carpark.

The room was OK and is standard for Seregeti camps, I have been informed. But there are other issues at the camps which are annoying - poor internet, hot water only in the evening, no electricity during the night, which is a real problem if you have modern sleep devices.

Food was OK and the staff very helpful.

But as I said in the opening sentence, I am not a camper!
