Agency offering trekking in remote areas of the Rift Valley, around little frequented lakes and Lake Natron.

This niche agency offers trekking tours in very remote areas of the Rift Valley, around little-visited lakes such as the crater of Lake Empakaï, where it has a camp. But also the famous Lake Natron, which at certain periods takes on incredible red hues. Between the two, the agency also has another camp. It is possible to vary the itinerary up to 5 days of trekking with cultural encounters with the Maasai.

Wow! This camp has been designed ecologically sensitive as possible. Its more ecological camp in Tanzania and the camp have been designed to be 100% removable within three month return to its natural state policy. in time of extremely drought, we do allow local livestock to graze for short periods in the morning hours. In this way we foster community understanding but also give wildlife opportunity to thrive as well. We encourage and limit any chemical being introduced to the local water sources by briefing guests as well as ensuring that grey water source do not reach to the springs.

Spectacular and interesting place in the middle of nowhere. We arrived in the early afternoon, and found the surroundings rough in the harsh light. Then the evening light came and changed everything to the most beautiful warm hue. The hotel was wonderful with excellent service. The tents are large and beds are really nice. The pool is natural with small fish nibbling at your toes. It is definitely worth the detour for the able legged. Make sure to stay for two nights to take in everything. Enjoy the THOUSANDS of flamingos, and definitely go to the nearby waterfalls and take a nice and cooling swim.

I had the pleasure of staying at Lake Natron Camp during my trip to Tanzania, and I have to say it was an amazing experience. The location, near Lake Natron, was mesmerizing and the staff at the camp were incredibly friendly and helpful.

Our local day guide, Lemburis, deserves a special mention. He took us on a guided tour to the lake, the waterfall, and the footprints, and his knowledge and openness made the experience truly unforgettable. He was very knowledgeable about the nature, animals, and environment of Lake Natron. And thanks to Lemburis, we learned a lot about the Maasai culture and way of life.

Overall, the staff at Lake Natron Camp went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable and memorable. I wish them all the best and would highly recommend this camp to anyone looking for an authentic Tanzanian experience.
