This modest local hotel is a good option for budget travelers passing through Tanga. Rooms are dapper, well-kept, with private bathrooms and air-conditioning. The house opens onto the garden, which is very pleasant for breakfast. What's more, it's well located, next to the beach (of the Tanga Yacht Club), 10 minutes by dala-dala from the historic center, on the small Raskazone peninsula. Breakfast is local, with manioc, sweet potatoes and fish and vegetable soup.

The Yacht Club just across the quiet tarmac road offers additional leisure opportunities. The Yacht Club and is one of the few places in Tanga with a sandy beach and security from vendors and beggars. There are showers and changing rooms available at the beach. The Yacht Club offers a daily membership for 10,000 Tanzanian shillings.There is also an excellent restaurant at the Yacht Club.
