A splendid forest reserve, with various endemic species of fauna and flora, near the center of Dar es Salaam.
Inhabited in particular by galagos monkeys, the primary forest of the Pugu hill, a forest reserve 20 minutes drive from the center, is splendid. It extends over 22 km2 and has 14 endemic species of fauna and flora, but it is also home to elephants, giraffes, hippos, baboons... Hiking trails have been laid out, passing by the main attractions including a sacred cave of the Zaramo, a local cattle market, bat caves...
