It's a tiny stand hidden away in the backstreets of Stone Town, not far from the Emerson Spice Hotel. Barafu Paradice has a few stools and low tables set right on the street, which is quite wide in this area. We come here for one thing only: its creamy, snowy coconut ice cream, vegan and lactose- and gluten-free, made with 100% local ingredients. A contemporary gourmet address for a sweet break on a hot afternoon. Other flavors: coffee or mango passion. Take the opportunity to observe the street atmosphere.
