This lodge offers charming bungalows at a good price for comfort and its front-line position on Jambiani beach. The traditional banco beds have comfortable mattresses, and the rooms are naturally ventilated. We love the ambience of the bar, with its swings and hammocks for relaxing by the sea, and the exceptional restaurant. Blue Reef specializes in deep-sea fishing, so its supply of fish, lobster, rock lobster and octopus is ultra-fresh. The bar is also renowned for its cocktails. Everything here is meticulous.

Our guesthouse Blue Reef Bungalows is located directly on the beautiful white sandy beach of Jambiani village.
It is a small and cosy guesthouse with only 5 bungalows.
Our garden is shaded, surrounded by palm trees and offers a breathtaking view of the crystal clear turquoise water of the Indian Ocean.
Discover the local life
Jambiani is a small, authentic fishing village on the southeast coast of Zanzibar, far from the mass tourism and large resorts of the north.
It is only 55 km from the capital Stone Town and the airport.
We are integrated into the village, which means that you will also experience the local life on the island.
During the day, children play on the beach, villagers fish or maintain their boats, and at low tide, women collect seaweed.
