Wunderschönes Hotel mit toller Anlage in erster Reihe am Strand. Sehr schöne Zimmer, lecker Essen, super Getränke und insbesondere ein großartiges Personal! Danke für diesen traumhaften Urlaub.

Les repas sont copieux et très bons, la vue est exceptionnelle et les chambres très confortables.
Charlotte et Martin sont de très bons conseils, tout était parfait, au plaisir de séjourner au Kupaga !! ????????

Tout était parfait, le logement, le restaurant, et le personnel. Rien à redire à part qu’on y retournerait bien! Charlotte et Martin sont très accessibles, ils proposent des excursions ou prestation comme des massages à des prix très corrects. Bravo, vous avez un très bel endroit !

Personal ist sehr freundlich, hilfsbereit. Essen ist sehr gut, man sollte bei der Bewertung immer beachten das andere Gewürze verwendet werden. Die Europäische Küche hat kaum Einfluß.

Booking Kupaga has been the best decision for our holiday. The hotel is located right in front of the stunning Jambiani beach. The room is big, very comfortable and clean (pictured: room view). The food at the restaurant is great. And last but not least, every single person working in the hotel, from the restaurant staff to the manager Charlotte, all have gone above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Thank you! We'll be back :)

Nous n avons testé que le bar et le restaurant. Nourriture raffinée, innovante, bien servie. On se régale ! Le personnel est sympathique et dévoué. Très bonne ambiance. La déco est très moderne, ça change à Jambiani.... C est très clean. Nous avons testé cet établissement durant 15 jours et
c était notre étape préférée pour boire et manger. La gérante est aussi très avenante. Un bel endroit

We came for happy hour and ordered second round at 6:55pm but we were refused the second round of happy hour drinks despite ordering them at 6:55 :( not cool, we really argued our case but they just were barely responding and couldn’t understand we’re had ordered DURING happy hour… not happy at all. Don’t come here for happy hour - they will not bring you your drinks and scam you into what you’ve ordered as one drink without the happy hour option despite making it very clear. On top of this, my friend is vegan and we asked specifically for no feta in her salad and it came with all the feta and she had to pick it out but it was so crumbled throughout all her food… not good service at all. I do not recommend this place for food or happy hour or good service.

On loge a Jambiani on nous a recommandé d’aller boire un cocktail au Kupaga. Nous somme partis et on a été discriminé ils ne voulaient pas bous faire de cocktail sans alcool a la happy hours. Sous pretexte que si ils retirent l’alcool on y a pas droit alors que je viens de Belgique pays non musulman et qu’on ne m’a jamais discriminé ainsi. Honte a l’établissement qui ne s’intègre pas du tour et qui nous a bien mis mal a l’aise. Surtout qu’on a demande un ingrédients en moins et non en +. Premier restaurant qui m’a déçus de zanzibar et bien triste que ce soit mes compatriotes Belge qui plus est

Holiday experiences are largely defined by service quality, trust, and facilities. Regrettably, our stay turned out to be a bad experience, especially considering the rate was over $200 per night. The first night, we endured a lack of electricity over the full night, no working air conditioning, and even not a fan. The unbearable heat made it impossible to sleep. While one might attribute this to being in Zanzibar, it turned out to be a simple switch that an employee flipped the next morning.

The following day, we planned an excursion to Paje and requested a Tuk Tuk from the hotel staff. Despite repeatedly specifying our preference for a Tuk Tuk and not motorcycles, and confirming the price before departure, we were dismayed to find two motorcycle riders waiting for us. It was an extremely dangerous and uncomfortable journey, especially since it was raining and the drivers sped up to 100km/h without us having helmets or suitable safety gear. Upon arrival, the fare had unexpectedly doubled. When we contacted the hotel about this, a senior staff member threatened us, saying there would be dire consequences if we didn't pay the increased fare, including physical threats ("They will wait behind the next corner with a knive").

As a frequent traveller, I was shocked and felt extremely unsafe. We reported this incident to the hotel manager, who apologized, but the local staff member had already misrepresented the situation. It's unacceptable for a so-called "luxury" hotel to engage in such offerings, exposing guests to dangerous situations and voicing any threats to guest. Despite deciding to stay another night, we woke up to yet another issue: a cold shower at 8 AM, which is simply not acceptable for a hotel in this price range.

The manager Charlotte was very nice and keen to solve the situation and also willing to compensate us for the plenty inconveniences. But when discussing with the owners we were offered to waive the cocktail from our bill - which clearly means no one was keen to even make up for this in any way. Anyway in many ways the experience wasn’t great and it’s sad as it was a 3 day stay and it’s a beautiful location with a very eager manager but the hotel has failed to meet its promises in terms of service, trust, security.

Also watch out there is a mosque close by so morning prayers waking you up early in the day.

A pity that safety and concerns of guests were not taken serious.

The bedding is top!

Superbe hôtel à recommander sans hésitation, très bien situé le long d'une plage de sable fin, très belle piscine et très bon restaurant. Personnel très agréable et serviable. Hôtel situé au coeur du village de Jambiani.

C’était le QG de nos vacances à Jambiani. On y allait tous les jours : que ce soit pour un brunch ou un déjeuner ou un dîner, tout est excellent ! Même un cocktail est très agréable à prendre dans ce restaurant

« Wahou » c’est le seul mot qui m’est venu en ouvrant mes rideaux le premier matin.
L’hôtel est magnifique.
Toute l’équipe était génial, mais gros coup de cœur pour Fahad, Sarah et Charlotte.
Les repas sont très bien, et l’ambiance est vraiment très agréable.
On a passé une semaine de rêve la bas ????

Seul bémol : happy hours uniquement pour les cocktail avec alcool, et pas de proposition de cocktail sans alcool. Donc pour avoir un cocktail sans alcool, on payer le prix d’un cocktail avec alcool et n’avions pas la promotion du happy hour…

Séjour du 24 au 02 novembre. Le Kupaga est vraiment le paradis sur terre. L'hotel est magnifique, la plage, le resto, la vue, les chambres. Tout est fait pour passer un séjour de rêve. C'est la 3 fois que nous venons à Zanzibar mais la première fois au Kupaga et ce qui est certain c'est que nous reviendrons sur l'ile et sans aucun doute au Kupaga. L’accueil, la gentillesse et les conseils de Charlotte ont fait de ce séjour une réussite totale. Nous ressentons beaucoup de bienveillance de sa part envers le personnel et c'est très appréciable de voir le sourire sur les visages de tous.
