Entrance fees are payable by CB Visa or MasterCard or Tanapa prepaid card at the gate. Tanapa has low-cost public camps along the Mdonya and Ruaha rivers. There are also several "bandas" along the Ruaha River, which are fairly basic but perfectly equipped, as well as the new rooms perched on a hill overlooking the Ruaha River. A real bargain, they all have en-suite bathrooms. A good, affordable restaurant can be found at the Headquater , where these accommodation options are located.
