The park is open all year round and must be visited with a guide.
Open all year round, unlike the camps which all close between March and May. A guide is required and, as at Gombe National Park, the price is per person per day. To stay there, in addition to two luxury lodges, there is also the Mango Tree Bandas managed by Tanapa, which can be booked at the office in Kigoma. Be careful, you must be completely self-sufficient for this accommodation (water, stove, food). It is a very basic camp. Think about the cost of transfer by boat from the office in Bilenge and back.
