This hotel was one of the first guesthouses to open on the West Bank, in the heart of Egyptian Nubia.
This quayside boat, on the island of Sehel, is an alternative to the hotels offered by Aswan. There's no question of bathing at its feet, however, as its position is close to the major eddies characteristic of the first cataract. It was one of the first guest-houses to open on the west bank. A dozen others have since appeared. The Nile Dream hotel is anchored on the island, about 20 minutes by motorboat south of Aswan, in the heart of Egyptian Nubia. Here you can enjoy the impressive scenery of the Cataract Islands.
