The traditional shipyards of Alexandria are located not far from the citadel, at the tip of the peninsula, on its inner or outer side. Large pleasure or fishing boats are always made of wood, and sometimes we come across the giant skeletons of the boats, which are really impressive! The hulls are then adorned with bright colours that give the inner harbour unusual hues. Continuing the walk on the sea side, you will find the fish market right next to it.
