The Egyptians who go there never stray far from the landing stage, where the sea remains calm and is ideal for family swimming. It's a very popular spot, with a lively local atmosphere. If you're brave enough to walk 20 or 30 minutes along a rugged beach (the most beautiful of all), you'll reach the large rock known as "Cleopatra's Bath". Swept by the waves, the site is splendid and particularly wild. Out of season, it's empty, deserted and lonely, which is not unpleasant.
