Rachid Museum, housing Islamic art objects, a collection of gold coins, Ottoman weapons and uniforms.
Since 1959, the Rachid Museum has occupied one of the town's historic houses, named after its builder and local hero: Hussein Arab Killi. He confronted the English army in the battle of 1807 and became governor of the city in the 1850s. The museum houses a number of Islamic art objects, a collection of gold coins, Ottoman weapons and uniforms. Of the museum's 766 works, only 200 are on display.
