A mountain that hosts the Siwa festival to celebrate friendship and peace between tribes at the time of the October full moon.
The highest point of the oasis, where you have to climb to discover Siwa and its surroundings. It too is flanked by tombs, though of little interest. Every year, the mountain hosts the Siwa festival. For three days, it celebrates friendship and peace between the tribes at the time of the full moon in October, an experience to be lived if possible. There are several springs in the village, which are arranged in a pool where one can bathe. The closest and best known are the "Cleopatra's Baths" where the famous queen is said to have bathed during her visit to Siwa.
