A small quartz-veined mountain with magnificent scenery and a wide variety of colors and minerals.

In the heart of the white desert, a small mountain veined with quartz, which gave it its name. This is what geologists call an unearthed cave, with stalagmites and stalactites that have been pushed upwards by the movement of the earth. Beware the road is chaotic on two thirds, its last part has just been completely redone, which allows the driver and the mechanics to blow a little over 40 km. Magnificent landscapes, very varied colours and minerals, an almost surrealist whole from which you will take your most beautiful pictures.

Petite mais à voir
Les objets en albâtre il y en a plein les souks en Egypte, mais les cristaux d'albâtre avant qu'ils en soient travaillés et poncés c'est plus rare! Une curiosité à quelques 5h de route du Caire. A faire si vous passez par Al Baharya ou que vous campez dans le désert blanc!
