ETHNOGRAPHIC MUSEUM
Small, unpretentious museum displaying wedding clothes and jewelry, as well as a sampling of Bedouin crafts.
This unpretentious little museum, which is only open on request (you'll need to make an appointment at the tourist office), is well worth a visit, if only for its wooden key. Its interior architecture reflects traditional dwellings. In addition to the objects and implements needed for domestic economy (jars, calabashes, baskets, etc.), it exhibits wedding clothes, jewelry and a whole range of Bedouin crafts. If you're interested in history and culture, this museum is a treasure trove.
