EL ARABI" ARAB CITY

French town preserving its original wooden architecture, with facades featuring balconies and large openwork windows.
Less interesting for its architecture, it is nevertheless the historical counterpart of the French city. Built for Egyptian workers, it has preserved some typical examples of its original architecture with facades formed by balconies and large openwork bays, entirely made of wood. The main street is folkloric and animated by a daily souk of vegetables and poultry, and fish too. It is quite surprising to see the differences between al Haï al afrangui, the French city, and al Haï al arabi, the Arab city.
