Close to Mount Sinai and adjacent to the monastery, the guesthouse has something of a monopoly: best to book in advance! At certain times of the year, the Greek Orthodox community reserves all the rooms. This is a great opportunity to see the monastery gardens without the crowds of tour buses. Air-conditioning and individual heating, as well as water heater, in the rooms. Comfortable but nothing spectacular. The adjoining cafeteria offers simple meals. Breakfast and dinner are included in the price.
