The Palau Güell is once again celebrating the Palau Güell Nights, which have become one of the most special and unique events of summer nights in Barcelona. This summer the evenings will take place on July 7, 14, 21 and 28 on the magical and unique roof of the Palau, where for the first time the architect Antoni Gaudí designed the chimneys as architectural sculptures.
Each night will feature a concert by a group with a different style: from jazz to blues, rumba and rhym'n and blues. We have designed a program where musical diversity and joy flood in for an unforgettable summer night.
Before the concert, visitors will discover, through an express tour, the most important spaces of this urban habitat that the industrialist Eusebi Güell commissioned from his friend Gaudí. The building, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1984, stands out both for the innovative way in which Gaudí designed the space and light, and for the excellent quality of the noble materials used and the decorative and ornamental work of the craftsmen who collaborated with the architect.
Once on the roof, visitors can admire one of the most popular spaces. From there, you can enjoy a spectacular view of the city. In the days when the Güell family lived there, this view was only accessible to the service -who would climb up there to hang out their clothes- or to the Güell family themselves when they wanted to show guests the cityscape.
