Barcelona's official cabs are recognizable by their black and yellow color scheme, as well as their cab sign on the roof, which displays a green light when the cab is available. Inside, you'll find a taximeter in the center of the front panel, which displays the fare charged, any surcharges and the total amount of the fare. The cab driver will also have an ID card displayed in the right-hand corner of the front window. They can be booked in advance or hailed on the street.
