MARTINEZ
Excellent traditional cuisine to be enjoyed in a restaurant with terrace and beautiful views in Barcelona.
Nestled on a hillside, a stone's throw from the cable car that links the coast to Montjuïc, this restaurant occupies a unique building designed by Oscar Tusquets, whose terrace overlooks the port of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. In addition to its sublime views, the restaurant seduces with its traditional cuisine, which gives pride of place to arroces (rice dishes) and grilled meats and fish "a la parilla". Try for example the suquet (stew) of fish from the Costa Brava or the lobster and monkfish cazuela. It's not cheap, but the view is worth the trip.
