This Japanese restaurant, located in the heart of downtown, has been awarded a Michelin star for its high quality cuisine. The restaurant only offers tasting menus, which you can enjoy at the bar or at one of the tables. Here, we take the time to enjoy: the full service lasts about two hours. Admittedly, the portions are a bit small, but that's not a problem, as a delicious surimi is served between each course. The extensive wine list is very popular. If you make a reservation at the bar, you can watch the sushi being prepared live.

Le Japon gastronomique s’invite à Barcelone. Habitués de la cuisine japonaise nous y avons fait un super dîner ! Mérite amplement son étoile Michelin. Essayer de réserver au comptoir ou dans la salle de la cuisine ouverte.

Shunka is a notch above oriental restaurants of Barcelona. The presence of a regular Japanese clientele is an undeniable guarantee of quality. The open kitchen on the restaurant looks trust, because you can watch the chef prepare tempura and others sashimi. Excellent quality therefore but with a price, inevitably.
