Traditional cuisine is the order of the day in this restaurant, founded in 1786, a stone's throw from Plaça Reial. You only have to look at the countless photos of artists, politicians and other personalities to realize that this place has been a must for many years. In the big comedor with its ceramic walls, you will be served good Catalan specialties: escudella (soup with meat, chickpeas...), chicken a la catalana with potatoes and samfaina, or botifarra (sausage) with white beans. Typical... and touristy!

One went two evenings suite...and the skin belly was well stretched!
In addition the prices are very reasonable. Excellent value, a place to be preserved.
Remarkable menu LED dia lunchtime 13.50 (including wine).
Next to the traditional menu, parillada of pescados (grilled fish). La Olla (style garbure) is also one of the specialities. Recommended.
