Here's one of Barcelona's oldest restaurants still in business, having opened in 1873. On the verge of closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic, it's a joy to see it still standing, welcoming you into a warm atmosphere where time has stood still, and savoring tasty traditional tapas with a Catalan sauce. The menu includes a platter of sobrasada with honey served with bread, cod bombas with romesco sauce or cod confit, black garlic pipil, Santa Pau beans and chard.

Treieu en nom de cafè perquè no es pot anar a prendre un cafe a mitja tarda. Només treballeu pel turisme.
Aquest cafe jo ja hi anava quan era adolescent, era un lloc fosc i descuidat que vivia de la gent de Barcelona.
Ara ja no hi tenim cabuda nosaltres.
No hi aniré més i ni el recomanaré tampoc. Una llàstima que donin l'espatlla a la ciutat.
